How to make money with Twitter!Filed Under: Free Twitter Traffic
Welcome back to my Blog, you are very welcome here and please if you would like to leave a comment or 2 then I would be very grateful, thanks.
I have just discovered a away to make money from your Twitter account.
I was reading a blog post on another internet marketer site and thought I would share it with my readers to.
OK first I will say I will make no money from you joining, this is purely for your benefit and not mine.
There is a new system that has Twitter approval that allows you to get paid for advertisers to tweet to your followers.
The amount you get paid will depend on the amount of followers you have, for example I have a new account with only around 2000 followers, so their system say I should charge $5 per tweet or 0.15c per click. Not bad really, so if you have a large following you will get paid even more. However if you have a small followering then look at the rest of my Tweeter posts to find out how to increase your following quickly.
Here is a screen shot of the system:

This has justed launch so get in for Free now and lets see what happens:

I have to disagree…I don’t think it’s a good idea at all. Social media is not meant to “Pimp your S..T”.
If this statement:
There is a new system that has Twitter approval that allows you to get paid for advertisers to tweet to your followers.
is actually true and Twitter does endorse this then it could very well spell the end of Twitter as we know it. People are already closing their accounts due to spam.
Not to promote my site but for those who can’t grasp the concept behind Social Media and how to best utilize it I have a video up that explains all very nicely. You may want to drop by and watch it. Well worth ten minutes of your time.

Rod,
You don’t pimp your stuff, it’s an advert that someone else pays you for. Maybe you could compare it to adsense on your site.

Hi! Neil, You are absolutly right it is a great program to unfollow people if they don’t follow back. It is a part of the program I am promoting at this time. If you did not see the video you can see it here http://bit.ly/8ogfq

Hi Neil,
Nothing wrong in this at all. It’s just the way it comes out to a few. But I guess if used properly it can be quite lucrative..

Hi Neil,
You know the strife I got into when doing promotional tweets via my account so if you are going to go down this route then exercise extreme caution.
Ruining your reputation is not worth it for the sake of a few dollars.

David,
You only got into strife because of the wording you used. Creative that is was, but you would not got into any trouble for having a link on your twitter account once in a while.
Thanks for commenting though. I may put some more controversial stuff up. It gets far more attention…lol

Hi Neil,
I saw this a few days ago and thought I’d try it out using my secondary (read experimental) twitter account.
I got a job today and earned $11.76 for it. We’ll see if I get a few more before I reach the $50 cashout threshold…..
I’m still in 2 minds about this in principle. There’s something about the concept of a ‘sponsored tweet’ that seems make it underhanded in some way, a bit black hat. In reality, it’s really no different from advertising an affiliate product.
In fact, it’s more honest and transparent because it’s tagged as “sponsored”. It says “look, I paid to get here”
Maybe that suggests integrity and value in the sponsor, as well as faith in his product.
It was really only a matter of time before a site like this happened and at least it looks like it could integrate well.
Time will tell….
The post has clearly mobilized some opinions anyway.

Marc,
I know what you mean it does have a bit of gray area about it. But yes, what is the difference between this and sending out a message to your list promoting something. As long as you are happy with the product that gets tweets then what can be the harm.
